Macro photograph of real snowflake against pink - blue gradient background. This crystal is one of my favorites from all catch of January 2019. It have unusual triangle-based structure and rich details on transparent, glossy surface.

This snow crystal was captured on glass surface with simple macro setup, containing camera Canon Powershot A650is and additional lens Helios 44, used as magnifier.
8 identical photos, taken as fast series, was averaged to boost signal-to-noise ratio of this image. Lighting: smooth color gradient created with multi-color LED transit light.
