Artist's Description
A delicately formed hexagonal snowflake rests gently upon a bed of fine, fibrous strands, its intricate patterns and crystalline structure highlighted by a bluish hue. The contrasting dark background accentuates the snowflake's translucent and fragile beauty, revealing the unique and symmetrical designs formed by nature's own hand.
This is one of my favorite snow crystals, which i processed again from scratch. One of largest hexagonal plate snowflakes i've ever encountered, and with most unusual inner structure. It remind me some sort of cd-like recording with pits / lands coding, divided by sectors, and strange "runes" near the edges.
My collection contains hundreds macro photos of real snowflakes, and constantly grows.
