Description
Nice star plate snowflake, glittering on smooth gradient background in cold light.I like it's complex relief and almost perfect hexagonal symmetry.
This snow crystal was captured on glass surface with simple macro setup, containing camera Canon Powershot A650is and additional lens Helios 44, used as magnifier.
8 identical photos, taken as fast series, was averaged to boost signal-to-noise ratio of this image. Lighting: smooth color gradient created with multi-color LED transit light. Photo was taken February 2018 in Moscow, Russia.
Closeup pictures of real snowflakes are available for home decor, interior design and gifts as: stretched canvas prints, metal, acrylic, wood and framed prints, posters, greeting cards and spiral notebooks, phone cases for Apple iPhone and Samsung Galaxy, portable battery chargers, throw pillows, duvet covers and fleece blankets, shower curtains, bath and hand towels, coffee mugs, weekender tote bags, yoga mats, carry-all pouches, round beach towels and beach sheets, tank tops, men's and women's slim fit, v-neck, long sleeve, baseball and junior t-shirts.
My collection contains more than hundred snowflake macro photos, and constantly grows. Just click my name (above left), and you'll see all available images of snow crystals.
