This is unusual and interesting snowflake of capped column type. Unlike hollow columns, these crystals have caps on both ends. Caps (they looks like two usual snowflakes with hexagonal symmetry, which grown parallel to each other at the ends of central column) varied in size, can be simple hexagons or have arms, though usually two caps of same crystal grows almost perfectly identical (thanks to small size of the crystal), and whole snowflake looks very strange, but symmetrical.
These crystals usually bigger than typical hollow columns, and some specimens, which i've seen, almost reached 2 millimeters in length. But still, these snowflake are quite small for naked eye, and many people never seen them. In fact, capped column snowflake is not rare thing: during many snowfalls you'll see no single one, but some snow storms brings huge amount of these crystals, separated or in clusters. In this case, they can be seen even with naked eye, if you'll catch some falling snow on dark back...

Thanks a lot! This crystal, capped column, looks very unusual, but in fact this is not rare snowflake type.
