Here is all my snowflake macro photos on bright gradient background. I capture these snow crystals on large glass sheet, placed horizontally, with lighting from below. I use LED flashlight with three diodes, and when it pointed on snowflakes at some angle, snow crystals reveals their volumetric surface details and incredible inner structures. My other method is capturing snowflakes at relatively long exposures on dark grey woolen fabric, under natural light of winter clouded sky. These snowflake pictures looks completely different, though i can't say which method i like more. You can see these snowflake images in gallery "Dark snowflakes". You'll find all of my snowflake pictures (more than hundred!) in gallery "All snowflakes". Also, my best selling works available in gallery "Best sellers".
